Grodornas första 2 veckor ~~ The frogs first 2 weeks

Dag 1, Grodägg på torra land, ungefär 2 meter ifrån närmsta vatten. Vi gjorde som i fjol och lyfte ner det mesta utav äggen i vattnet, sedan tog vi några med oss hem.

Day 1, Frog eggs on dry land, about 2 meters from the nearest water. We did what we did last year and put most of them into the water, then we took a few with us home.

Dag 2, Vi satte dem i ett akvarium på mitt skrivbord och över natten så började de utvecklas.

Day 2, We put them in an aquarium on my desk and over night they started to develop.

Dag 3, De allra flesta ynglen har lämnat äggen men de hänger helst kvar bredvid dem för tillfället.

Day 3, Most of the tadpoles have left the eggs but they prefer to stick around them for the time being.

Dag 4, De vågar sig bort ifrån äggvitorna men hänger hellst vid glaset. De yttre gälarna ser ut som små fingrar.

Day 4, They dare to move away from the eggwhites but prefer to stick close to the glass. The outer gills looks like tiny fingers.

Dag 5, De sista äggen utvecklas inte.

Day 5, The last eggs doesn't develop.

Dag 6, De simmar runt i hela akvariumet och de äter upp äggen som inte utvecklades.

Day 6, They are swimming around the aquarium and they are eating the eggs that didn't develop.

Dag 8, De rör sig hela tiden. Det är slut på ägg så vi börjar att mata dem med fiskmats flingor.

Day 8, They are constantly moving. There are no eggs left and we are feeding them with fish food flakes.
Dag 10, Genomskinlig mage, det är tydligt att detta matvraket gillar de rosa fiskmats flingorna. Jag byter vatten dagligen (Chateau du Tap) för allt detta ätande får vattnet att stinka annars.

Day 10, See through belly, it's clear that this glutton likes the pink fish food flakes. I'm changing water daily (Chateau du Tap) because all this eating makes the water stink otherwise.

Dag 11, De är helt klart annorlunda än de grodyngel som vi hade förra året och vi börjar att undra om det är paddor... ?

Day 11, They are clearly different from the tadpoles that we had last year and we are starting to wonder if they are toads... ?

Dag 12, Jag gissar att det är omkring 100 grodyngel, presis som förra året, och de äter mer än fiskarna vi har i de andra akvarierna.

Day 12, I'm guessing that it's about 100 tadpoles, just like last year, and they eat more than the fishes we have in the other aquariums.

Dag 13, Minstingen är hälften så stor som de andra och jag mistänker att den kommer att bli uppäten innan den får ben.

Day 13, The runt of the litter is half the size of the others and I suspect that it will be eaten before it grows legs.

Dag 14, De är 3.5 cm långa nu. 1 cm kropp och 2.5 cm svans. Nu är det bara att vänta på de första benen.

Day 14, They are 3.5 centimeters long now. 1 centimeter body and 2.5 centimeter tail. Now all ther eis to do is to wait for the first legs.
