Those dry grass really camouflage this birds well. Like the series on the migrating birds too :)Could you get closer to the cranes or they wouldn't let you ?
That's as close as I could get to the cranes. They are very weary and as soon as they spot me they move away. Last year one of the crane couple stayed in the area and I'm hoping that they do the same thing this year.
