Öjebyn

Kyrkstugorna i Öjebyn.

"Kyrkan i Öjebyn, den första etappen av kyrkobygget stod färdig ungefär år 1425. Kring den öppna planen grupperar sig Kyrkstaden, den består av övernattningsstugor som de långväga församlingsborna behövde för att kunna besöka kyrkan och marknaden. 1666 flyttades staden till Häggholmen där den ligger än idag."

Jag har egentligen mer att säja, men jag har inte tid som det är nu.

The Church cottages in Öjebyn.

"The church in Öjebyn, the first part of the church was finnished about year 1425. The "Church village" is built around the open square, it is made of overnight cottages that the parishioners that had a long way to travel to the church needed to be able to visit the church and the fair. In 1666 the village was moved to Häggholmen where it is now."
