Majtjärn

På väg till Majtjärn.

On the way to Majtjärn. It could be translated as May tarn, but I think a more proper translation would be the lush and green tarn since "Maja" means to dress in green (leaves).

Majtjärn är ett skolproject som har pågått sendan jag gick i skolan. Vi var dom första som byggde på bron och huset som är längst bort i bild.

Majtjärn is a schoolproject that has been going on since I went to school. We were the first ones to build on the bridge and the building that is the farthest away in the photo.

Den som vill kan sova över i dom olika byggnaderna som står där.

Those that want to can stay the night in the different buildings that are there.

Bron har förändrats sedan jag sist såg den.

The bridge has changed since I last saw it.

Mormor var med oss och hon berättade att dom skördade hö här när hon var nygift.

My grandmother was with us and she told us that they harvested hay here when she was newly married.

Jag tyckte att det skulle bli kul att gå dit igen, jag minns ju den fina utsikten ... men å andra sidan, så var det ju över 20 år sedan...

I thought it would be fun to go there, I remembered the beautiful view ... but on the other hand, that was over 20 years ago...
